Dear Thespian Troupe 211, Can we count on your troupe's help as we try to collect a record 400,000 pounds of food during this year's Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat (TOTS-EAT) campaign?
Troupes who participate in the Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat community service initiative are rewarded with many benefits. The TOTS-EAT program: • Demonstrates the difference your students can have on their local community. • Raises the profile of the theatre program within the school. • Creates an opportunity for Thespian troupes to generate public interest in the theatre program at their school. • Enriches school/community relationships. • Strengthens and builds the relationship between the school and the families of its theatre students. • Builds the potential audience of a Thespian troupe by promoting upcoming shows. • Provides an opportunity for students to earn points towards Thespian induction or honor Thespian status (10 hours of work equals one point). It’s easy to participate. You’ll find everything you need for a successful food drive on our website: schooltheatre.org/totseat.
